Greetings from Cherish Family !

We are pleased to bring this newsletter to you.  We would like to bring forth the events took place recently to your kind notice.

Cherish school going children finished 2013-2014 academic year last month.  Few of them secured remarkable results, remaining stood average.  Anjali secured 2nd rank with 95% in 8th standard.

Susheela pursuing engineering 3rd year is awaiting to appear for semester exams.  5 children appeared junior college examinations and 2 appeared senior college examinations, they secured average to mixed results.  Illesh stood 2nd rank in the college.  We arranged part-time tutors to cater those who secured mixed results.  We expect them to come out with good results by appearing improvement exams.

Kumar, Esther and Mamatha appeared senior school exams this year, amongst them Kumar secured 8.2%.  This academic year ahead, we have 11 college going children and 7 preparing for senior school exams.

We are seriously looking for CBSE affiliated school as examination pattern of CBSE is proposed to be implemented from this academic year.  Please do pray for us as moving children to another school impacts their academics and social life.

This vacation, we arranged programs for children to cater them in various fields.  We conducted spoken English classes which also covers personality development.  Various activities are being used to help children to understand personality development.  We expect children to communicate well in English by the end of this program.

We equipped typewriting machines at Cherish Home, senior children are engaged in learning lower type writing course.

We also had opportunity to bring awareness about Naturopathy,  we had lectures on Naturopathy which helps children to maintain good health and hope for long life.

We had 1 week Bible training course at our home in the first week of this month.  Children actively participated in the training program.  This training really helped children and we witnessed change in their life.  All the participants had received certification.

We had excursion this month to free children from academic stress.  We have been to Ananthagiri Hills situated at Vikarabad.  Children had spend splendid time and made their day ! Children enjoyed beauty of the nature and had fun participating in various games at resort.
