Dear Friend,
. First of all, from the deep of my heart, I would like to thank God for having friends like you, your contributions to Cherish Foundation is very valuable and worthy which sets as an example for others. I am proud to say that you are great blessing to Cherish Children.Cherish children are busy as they have reached end of this academic year, Children who are pursuing intermediate are seriously preparing for final exams which is scheduled to start from 12

It’s a great pleasure to inform you that Mamatha, Esther and Kumar are appearing for school final year exams.  Please pray for them to secure good marks in the coming forth examination which is scheduled to start from 27th of March 2014.

Rest of the school going children are getting prepared for final exams which is in the month of April.

As children are going to finish this academic year, there are some dues in school and collegeswhich we have to clear before their exam starts. Please keep this in your prayer regularly.

As education plays the key role in the overall development of children, we have set our goals towards it and made our first priority for the children education.  Apart from the school, there is a dedicated team of advisors, tutors and volunteers who are working hard to reach our academic goals.

Though it is summer season, due to climatic changes it doesn’t seem to be summer season, this climatic change affected few of the children health.  Especially, Krupa (13 years) needs your prayer as she is suffering with Malaria and seizure.  Also pray for Esther and Ratna as they are suffering with fever and some allergy. These children are going through proper medication.

We want to bring into your notice regarding the requirement of coolers, Pedestal and Wall mounting fans in the children rooms.  It is necessary to re-roof our kitchen as asbestos and Walls are almost in a collapsible position.

Many of you know that music had become a part of Cherish family and few of our children are already learning music.  I am pleased to intimate you that our Pianist Jhansi and Vaishnavi are practicing every day to appear for Grade II music examination conducted by Trinity University, London.  Ravi is getting ready for the Second Grade in Guitar.  We are planning to start music classes in the coming summer holidays for the freshers as of many of Cherish children are having a strong desire to learn music.  We are planning for Drums, Piano, Guitar Flute and vocal music classes in the month of April.

I want to let you know that we are working on a proposal and budgeting out to start a knowledge bank which includes 1,000 knowledge based books and CD’s for the benefit of our children.  Right now we are listing out the books and want to take advice from the friends like you.  Library at Cherish premises encourages and engages children. Most of Cherish children are in high school and colleges. It is the time for them to choose their career goals, we felt that it will be the right time to start our knowledge bank.

At the end of this newsletter, it’s our humble request to uplift Cherish in your daily prayers and partner with us in this challenging ministry.

With grateful appreciation,

David Subramanyam
